Following publication of the Munro Review in May 2011 and the Government Response in July 2011 we are inviting organisations to join our National Redesign Network for Child & Family Social Work to support the process of redesign which local authorities and other delivery organisations will undertake over the forthcoming 12 months and beyond.

Offering an annual membership, each monthly seminar provides facilitated presentation and discussion about the core elements of successful Redesign promoted within the Munro Review as well as offering intellectual and rigorous debate about a wide range of related topics such as intervention methodology, financial strategy and management, practice based career pathways and systemic leadership.

Redesign members have access to telephone advice about the professional, technical and financial aspects of implementation of the Reclaiming Social Work Model. The Munro Review has highlighted this operating system as a key example of best practice redesign which, delivers proven positive outcomes for families as well as significantly reduced costs for local authorities.

Whilst local authorities will very much want to redesign according to local need and preference, the core principles of the Reclaiming model will assist any redesign model.

Redesign membership can be extended to incorporate 12 onsite visits in any given 12-month period to provide support to local Redesign plans. This could include membership of a Change Board, presentations to and facilitation of staff conferences or seminars, discussion groups as part of any consultation process and discussion and debate with senior leadership teams and politicians, families, children and young people. If you are interested in joining the Redesign Network, or to hear of other support we can offer please contact us.
